Karl’s Stout was born from a friendly rivalry with an Irish brewer he met at a CRAFT Brewers Conference. “Germans can’t brew dark beer,” the Irishman said. This was Karl’s answer. Nitrogen-infused and brewed with East Kent Goldings and Fuggle hops, it has won ‘Best German Stout’ at the International Beer Challenge for four consecutive years.
